Stanley Kotowski vanished while vacationing on Hilton Head Island with his family. A body found Monday underneath a home is believed to be Kotowski, police say.
Stanley Kotowski left vacation rental with no shoes, phone
Kotowski was last seen on Aug. 16 leaving his family’s rental property at Hilton Head Island, shoeless and without his phone and wallet. His wife reported distress, mentioning he thought someone was chasing him.
Kotowski believed to be found dead underneath Sea Pines home
After a search, authorities discovered a body believed to be Kotowski underneath a residence at Sea Pines resort, close to where he was staying with his family. An autopsy is awaited to confirm identification.
