With the domestic season not starting till September 5, a few India players have made their way to England. Here's how they have done so far
Prithvi Shaw - Northamptonshire
Shaw last played for India in 2021 and has been set back by injuries, loss of form, and disciplinary issues. He is back in the UK playing for Northamptonshire after being out with a knee injury. Shaw's form has improved, with impressive scores including a record-breaking 153-ball 244 against Somerset.
Ajinkya Rahane - Leicestershire
Rahane last played a Test in 2023 and aims to earn a spot in the team as he prepares for a busy Test season. He has struck two match-winning half-centuries for Leicestershire in the one-day competition, showing promise despite a modest performance in recent tournaments.
Venkatesh Iyer - Lancashire
Iyer was called to play for Lancashire during his honeymoon. His current performance in the One-Day Cup has not yet made a significant impact, but he anticipates a strong showing as he aims for national team reinstatement during the upcoming home season.
