Taking place Sept. 20-21, tickets for Ocean Fest in Surf City range from $25 to $70 per person.
Ocean Fest features live music, a vintage surfing contest, environmental education, and an Oysterpalooza. The event will take place at Soundside Park on September 20-21, showcasing a collection of activities celebrating ocean culture.
The festival includes Oysterpalooza from 4-10 p.m. on Friday and the music festival from 3-10 p.m. on Saturday.
Tickets are priced between $25 and $70 based on the event type. The $25 ticket includes access to live music and a kids zone, while the $50 ticket offers a dozen oysters.
Participants in the vintage surfing contest will use mid-length surfboards from the 1960s and 1970s, randomly assigned from a curated collection.
The music festival will feature performances from various artists, including Blue Footed Boobies, Of Good Nature, and The Midatlantic, along with educational exhibits and vendors.
Children under 10 can attend for free when accompanying ticketed adults, although they will not receive oyster tokens unless they have an Oysterpalooza ticket.
Ocean Fest was founded by three surfers in 2019 to celebrate the joy of surfing and raise awareness about ecological threats facing marine environments.
