Precure, launched by Mayo Clinic and Thermo Fisher Scientific, aims to revolutionize the understanding of biological changes associated with disease development before symptoms appear, by combining clinical expertise, de-identified longitudinal health information, and population-scale molecular data. Helix's Contributions to the Initiative Helix will deliver advanced AI tools for integrating genomics into clinical practice and supporting biomarker-driven research. Additionally, it will provide population-scale multiomic capabilities, encompassing clinical whole genome sequencing (WGS) and research-grade proteome sequencing. This comprehensive approach, combined with longitudinal clinical information and high-performance computing, aims to create new avenues for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Helix is set to deploy a fleet of these next-generation platforms to efficiently generate extensive genomic data for both whole genome sequencing (WGS) and proteomic read-outs at scale, thereby bolstering the program's ambitious data generation goals.
