Shield's new MCP Server extends its AI governance by allowing direct access to surveillance data from enterprise AI tools, addressing a key challenge for compliance and governance teams as AI adoption accelerates. Research indicates 73% of banking leaders prioritize GenAI investment, but 65% struggle with integration. The server enables authorized teams to query Shield Surveillance intelligence within AI interfaces, ensuring data grounding and control enforcement, without requiring new proprietary compliance solutions.
Governed Compliance Intelligence, Wherever Teams Work
At launch, users can query live alert information, including volumes, SLA, risk scores, ownership, and status, directly from AI environments. This includes asking questions like 'What are our highest-risk alerts this week?' or requesting breakdowns of the alert queue. The system is designed for governed access; requests are scoped to user permissions, access is read-only, and Shield remains the system of record. This initiative aims to embed compliance intelligence into AI workflows, starting with Claude, and plans to expand to support search, case management, communications review, and workflow actions.
